TongTong (b.1996) creates paintings that explore the relationship between observation, pattern, and the overlooked details of everyday life. Drawing inspiration from organic forms, textures, and familiar materials, she transforms subtle visual encounters into considered compositions that encourage a slower, more reflective way of seeing.

Influenced by her cross-cultural background and Eastern philosophy, TongTong’s practice investigates ideas of connection, rhythm, and perception. Through a meticulous process of research, drawing, and colour exploration, she creates works that reveal the quiet beauty within ordinary moments and invite deeper contemplation of the world around us.
